About Us

International Medical Corps (IMC) is a non-profit, global humanitarian organization established in 1984 by Dr. Robert Simon. The organization is dedicated to providing medical assistance, healthcare, and training to communities affected by disasters, conflicts, and poverty around the world. Their mission is to save lives and relieve suffering through the provision of medical care, as well as to build self-reliance and resilience in the communities they serve.

IMC's work includes emergency medical response, primary healthcare, mental health and psychosocial support, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services, nutrition programs, and capacity building. They also focus on training local healthcare workers to strengthen the capacity of local health systems and to ensure sustainability even after their programs have ended. International Medical Corps operates in various regions, including Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas, and has responded to numerous natural disasters, conflicts, and public health emergencies worldwide.
