Samaritan's Purse

Samaritan's Purse is a non-denominational evangelical Christian humanitarian organization that provides aid to people in need around the world. It was founded in 1970 by Bob Pierce and is currently led by Franklin Graham, the son of renowned evangelist Billy Graham. The organization aims to provide physical assistance and spiritual support to victims of natural disasters, war, poverty, and disease. They undertake various relief and development projects, such as disaster response, clean water initiatives, and medical missions. Samaritan's Purse is perhaps best known for its annual Operation Christmas Child project, which involves collecting and distributing shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, and other items to children in need across the globe.
